Biography

Gouri’s interest is in software engineering for machine learning. She envisions to utilize her software engineering and applied machine learning knowledge to analyze large clinical CT data set and automate bone mineral density and bone strength assessment. Gouri is supervised by Dr. Peter Salat and co-supervised by Dr. Steven Boyd.

In 2022 she was hired as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Calgary.
